Guns for Kids

Yesterday was my youngest son's 2nd Birthday.
We had a quiet day around the house, just me and the boys, but then without realising it, I found that I had given my youngest boy his first lesson in how to use a gun. Of course it was only a water pistol but the fact remains it is based on something who's sole design purpose is to kill another person. Am I taking this a bit to far? Of course, it's just a water pistol that could not hurt a fly. I doubt the experience will see him embarking on a murderous rampage through the halls of his High School. Even so, I am now left with the memory of teaching my son to aim his gun at his brother and pull the trigger. |
